To Our Community

Our doors are now open Tuesday through Sunday 11am - 4pm.

We have been given an opportunity due to the slowing of our lives, to reevaluate our small business. Our team has taken the time to look, listen, reflect, donate and act.

Our goal has always been to be an inclusive space, where you can come & take a moment, surrounded by beautiful things made by small brands and makers. As a carefully curated boutique, we are refocusing our attention to ensure the products and artists include and honor our black community. We have always valued the diversity of our LAKE team and the community of artists and designers we support.

We recognize we have a lot to learn and there is more to do.

We will continue to share black voices in all varieties of art & expression, ways for reform, and organizations we've been giving to on our social media platforms.

We are honored to be home to the first permanent mural by A Love Language Project in LA. The project was created by Natalie Patterson and Allison Kunath to amplifying Black voices and encouraging meaningful convos around black liberation. The words we chose by Ida B. Wells are so relevant, valuable and applicable to this time in history. Wells was a co-founder of the NAACP, journalist, educator and truth seeker. We honor her courage and the courage of the Black community in their fight for true freedom and equality for over 400 years. We value you, stand with you and will fight for you. We have always aimed to create a safe space where all are welcome. Thank you to Natalie & Allison for working with us to create this powerful piece.

take care + be well + stay inspired.

We have been a part of the Silver Lake community since 2005 and hope to continue offering inspiring clothing & objects many more years to come.
